United Nations to monitor 2009 Census First time UN agencies jointly take part in census monitoring

HA NOI, 30 March 2009 – Thirty United Nations staff in Viet Nam will help monitor the 2009 Population and Housing Census, which will be carried out in 21 provinces throughout the country from 1 to 15 April 2009. This is the first time that UN agencies in Viet Nam have jointly participated in a census monitoring.
