DRAWING CONTEST "GIRLS' VISION FOR THE FUTURE"
Drawing contest "Girls' vision for the future"

How do you imagine the ideal future for girls?

That's the future where girls can become anyone they want to - a talented politician, a shining singer on stage, or an astronaut flying into space. However, for girl child living in conflict or at risk of becoming victims of gender-based violence & early pregnancy, her dream future is simply living in a peaceful world, and having freedom to choose her own life.

UNFPA Executive Director, Dr. Natalia Kanem, emphasized: "Adolescent girls have a vision for a better future: Let’s stand with them, and not in their way". Accordingly, on celebration of this year's International Day of the Girl Child, UNFPA in Viet Nam launched a drawing contest for participants under 16 years old with the theme "Girl's Vision for the Future". The contest is a playground for children to unleash their creativity, with the message of promoting the right to development, freedom of choice, and autonomy over the body & future of every girl.

1. Contestants: Vietnamese citizens under 16 years old (regardless of gender)

2. Deadline for submission: October 11, 2024 - October 25, 2024

3. Prizes: The 03 best contestants in each age group will receive:

  • Opportunity to display drawings in the main hall of the Green One UN House.
