Event "Advancing Inclusive Education and Leadership for All"

The International Day of Persons with Disabilities (IDPD) is observed annually on 3rd December by the UN. It serves as a global reminder of our responsibility to foster inclusivity and equality. This day highlights the promotion of the rights and well-being of persons with disabilities across all levels of society, raising awareness about their situation in political, social, economic and cultural spheres.

To celebrate International Day of Persons with Disabilities (IDPD) (3/12) this year, UNFPA in Viet Nam coordinated with other UN agencies to organize the event "Advancing Inclusive Education and Leadership for all". This event, led by UNFPA in collaboration with other UN agencies, marks our first response to the IDPD. The event creates opportunities for participants to raise their awareness about inclusion and listen to PWDs sharing their experiences of leadership roles in many fields: Business - startups, volunteering, project management, healthcare, etc.
