OTHER will be back in Hanoi this September!
From September 10th, 2024 to September 20th, 2024, OTHER - THIS GENDER IS OURS will join hands with artists and the community to knit an interactive space initiated and led by the community to convey the stories and lived experiences of LGBTIAQ+ people through artistic works and community events.
OTHER, originally an initiative from IT'S T TIME with the desire to use art to bring the lived experiences of transgender and LGBIAQ+ people to the public in a genuine and emotional way. In 2019, 2020 and 2022, OTHER has left a deep impression on the community in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City when recreating the lives and inner feelings of transgender and genderqueer people with stories and experiences told by the community itself.
In 2024, in collaboration with Hanoi Pride, OTHER will continue to join artists and the community in telling stories about the lived experiences, concerns, and aspirations of the LGBTIAQ+ community, and together promote respect, acknowledgment, and tolerance of all genders and gender identities, through the message: THIS GENDER IS OURS.
