🎨 LAUNCHING NOW: “My future, my choice” – A Youth Art Contest Celebrating World Population Day 2025! 🌍🖌️

As part of the global activities marking the launch of the State of World Population Report 2025, the United Nations Population Fund officially announces the launch of a watercolour art contest.

🧡 Around the world, millions of people are unable to have the number of children they desire — whether that’s more, fewer, or none at all. Today’s young generation is facing mounting pressure and uncertainty, yet their choices about life, family, and the future remain deeply important.

This year’s State of World Population Report will feature the work of various watercolour artists. With layered and emotive brushstrokes, these artworks aim to capture the ambivalence and uncertainty many people face when making fertility decisions in an increasingly complex world.

🌈 That’s why we’re inviting YOU — the next generation — to show us what freedom, choice, and dreams look like, through art.

🎯 Theme: “My Future, My Choice”
Visualise something meaningful about the importance of choice and the freedom that reproductive rights can bring — whether it’s a dream career, a happy family, a safe community, or an open road ahead.

📅 Deadline: 30 June 2025
👩‍🎨 Age group: 10–30 years old
🖌️ Medium: Watercolour (Submit scanned/photo image)
🏅 Top 20 works will be displayed at the UN House and online for World Population Day
📣 Winners will be decided by public vote (likes, shares, comments on UNFPA Viet Nam social media!). The TOP3 will be chosen by the UNFPA judging panel.
