Viet Nam is implementing its National Action Programme on Civil Registration and Vital Statistics (#CRVS) for the period 2017 – 2024. Enhancing the CRVS system as well as developing and maintaining quality #data on birth and death registration, including the causes of death, will create a foundation for countries to recognize and ensure individual’s #rights; develop a plan and a budget for effective policies on #healthcare, #socialprotection, #education and other public services at national and local levels; and monitor and assess impacts of public programmes and projects.
